RobinBrooke’s Open Arms Memory Care Program is thoughtfully designed for individuals living with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia. In a secure and nurturing environment, residents receive personalized care that supports their cognitive, emotional, and physical well-being—while fostering a deep sense of safety and belonging.
The neighborhood features private apartments, secured spaces, peaceful outdoor areas, and a comforting daily routine. With family-style dining and compassionate, dementia-trained caregivers, residents enjoy meaningful engagement every day.
Memory Care Program Includes:
- Private studio apartment with Senior friendly bathrooms and common areas
- Delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner served family style
- Snacks and beverages available throughout the day
- Spacious activity lounges, outdoor garden, walking path
- 24-hour availability of specially trained and caring staff
- Emergency alert system in each apartment
- Social and recreational activities designed for residents who live with memory impairment

- Weekly laundering service including personal laundry

Open Arms Memory Care
Includes:- Administration of medication
- Standby assistance with hand support, if necessary, with personal needs including bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting
- Standby assistance with hand support with transferring in and out of bed or chair, if necessary
- Escorts to the dining room, activities, events, and monitoring during mealtimes, if necessary
- Assistance with incontinence care
- Additional laundry needs as a result of incontinence care
- Additional support and assistance as a result of behavioral changes

What services are included at RobinBrooke Senior Living?
Residents enjoy private apartments with lockable doors and personal bathrooms—offering comfort, dignity, and independence. Our services are designed to make life easier, including:
- Three daily meals
- Housekeeping and laundry
- Scheduled transportation
- Life enrichment and social activities
- Emergency call systems
- Interior and exterior maintenance
- 24/7 on-site staff
- Resident parking
- Utilities including cable and internet, excludes phone
Residents may also arrange healthcare or personal care services through external providers, based on community policies. In select locations, third-party care providers are available on-site.
Is assisted living the same as a nursing home?
No. Assisted living provides non-medical support in a residential setting, while nursing homes offer 24/7 medical care and skilled nursing services. Arcadia residents maintain more independence, with private apartments and a home-like environment that encourages autonomy and engagement.
Will I have to share my apartment?
No. Each resident has a private apartment. However, if you’d like to live with a spouse or another chosen individual, shared accommodations can be arranged.
Are legal documents required before move-in?
Yes. All residents must sign a lease agreement before moving in. This document outlines your rights, responsibilities, and the community’s policies—ensuring transparency from the start.
Is transportation available for appointments and errands?
Yes. Scheduled transportation is available for doctor visits, errands, outings, and more. Full details are included in your lease, and our staff is happy to help coordinate rides.
Can I bring my own furniture?
Absolutely. We encourage residents to personalize their space with furniture, décor, and meaningful items to make their apartment feel like home from day one.
What determines the cost of assisted living?
Costs depend on:
- Apartment size and layout
- The level of care you need
- Optional add-on services

Are Arcadia employees trained?
Yes. Every team member undergoes role-specific training, both at hire and on an ongoing basis, to ensure exceptional care, safety, and service.
Do you run background checks on employees?
Yes. We conduct criminal background checks on all employees as part of our hiring process. Resident safety is a top priority.
Does Medicare or Medicaid cover assisted living?
Generally, no. Medicare and Medicaid do not cover room and board in assisted living. However, some healthcare services provided by licensed external agencies may be eligible. Our team can help you explore your options.
Can long-term care insurance help pay for assisted living?
Yes, many long-term care policies include assisted living benefits. Since coverage varies, we’re happy to help you understand how your policy applies.
Will I ever have to move out of the community?
In accordance with Kentucky law, residents must be mobile on their own—either walking or using a walker or wheelchair independently. You may also need to move out if:
- You require care that cannot be arranged through outside providers
- You pose a risk to yourself or others
- You’re no longer able to pay for services (in which case a 30-day notice will be given)
If a move-out is necessary, we’ll assist you in finding appropriate alternative arrangements.
